To be considered for a individual feature on Don't Smile, please send 15-20 images of a developed body of work, an artist statement, and a short bio written in the third person in a .zip file to firstname.lastname@example.org. The images must be 1280px on the long side, 160ppi, and cannot exceed 20 MB.
Note: This is not how you submit to Don't Smile's current Call for Entry for an exhibition. See below for those guidelines.
Photographers of all ages and backgrounds may submit to Don't Smile. The only requirement is that you must be a self-identifying woman.

Don’t Smile is seeking images that represent the concept of home. This can span anywhere from the feeling of home, domesticity, quotidian, or anything that might pertain to home as you see it. Home will be published on Don’t Smile for the April-June online exhibition, juried by Davìda Carta, who is the editor of Underexposed Magazine and whose own work explores residential interiors.
Photographers of all ages and backgrounds may submit to Don’t Smile. The only requirement is that you must be a self-identifying woman.
Send 2-5 images to email@example.com in a .zip files. Each image should be 1280px on the long edge, 160ppi, saved as .jpegs and saved with the naming convention lastname_Firstname_title.jpeg
100% of the submission fees will go to The Root Social Justice Center in Brattleboro, VT. The Root Social Justice Center provides an accessible space in Southern VT for social justice groups to meet and is a hub for racial justice organizing.
